If you are a returning fan, there is a massive change to the lineup you need to know about. The iconic Frightfully Fun Parade is taking a temporary hiatus this year. Because of ongoing construction on the upcoming Coco-themed attraction, backstage parade storage is inaccessible, meaning the full parade cannot run. But Disney is not leaving us empty-handed!
In its place, Disney is debuting a brand-new show called “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake: A Haunted Mansion Street Party.” This new street show will bring the Haunted Mansion’s 999 happy haunts to life right in the middle of Disney California Adventure. Expect a spirited séance, ghostly dancers, and plenty of ghoulish delight. While we will certainly miss the headless horseman’s traditional parade, we are thrilled to see a fresh, Haunted Mansion-inspired street party step into the spotlight!
