The Neon Summer Party is Back!
If you’ve been waiting for the ultimate way to beat the Florida heat while soaking up some serious 90s vibes, I’ve got some fantastic news for you. Disney has officially confirmed that Disney H2O Glow After Hours is returning to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for the 2026 summer season! This fan-favorite event is one of the most unique ways to experience a water park, turning the tropical oasis into a neon-drenched beach party under the stars.
For those who haven’t experienced it before, this is a separately ticketed, limited-capacity event. That means you get to enjoy the park with much lower wait times for the most popular slides, all while the sun is safely tucked away. No sunscreen required for this one!
Mark Your Calendars: Dates and Times
This year, the party is bigger than ever with 13 select nights spanning from June 2 through September 5, 2026. Disney is adding even more weekend options this time around, which makes it a lot easier to fit into a quick summer getaway. Here is the full list of dates for the 2026 season:
- June: 2, 13, 19, 27
- July: 3, 7, 17, 24, 31
- August: 9, 22, 29
- September: 5
The party officially kicks off at 8:00 PM and runs until 11:00 PM, but here is a pro-tip: your event ticket actually gets you into Typhoon Lagoon as early as 6:00 PM. Those extra two hours are the perfect time to grab dinner or catch a few extra waves before the neon lights take over.
Rare Characters and Glowing Fun
One of the biggest draws for the 2026 H2O Glow season is the expanded character lineup. Disney is leaning hard into the nostalgia this year! You’ll be able to meet Powerline Max (who is basically the superstar of our dreams), along with Chip ‘n’ Dale in their iconic Rescue Rangers outfits.
The DJ Dance Party at the surf pool will also feature Donald Duck and Daisy Duck showing off their best beach moves. And keep an eye out for Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack wandering around to join the fun. It’s rare to see these characters all in one place, especially in such a relaxed, party-like atmosphere.
What’s Included with Your Ticket?
Aside from the shorter lines for slides like Crush ‘n’ Gusher and Humunga Kowabunga, your admission comes with some pretty sweet perks. You can indulge in complimentary snacks all night long, including:
- Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars
- Popcorn
- Select fountain beverages
There are also special event-exclusive treats and beverages available for purchase if you’re looking for something more substantial. Plus, don’t miss a trip down Castaway Creek. During the event, the lazy river features character-inspired glowing tubes themed after Stitch and Sully, making for some truly magical photo ops.
How to Secure Your Tickets
Tickets for Disney H2O Glow After Hours start at $85 to $89 per ticket (plus tax), depending on the date you choose. If you’re traveling with little ones, kids ages 3 to 9 can save $20 per ticket.
Booking Windows:
- April 21, 2026: Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green can begin purchasing tickets.
- April 24, 2026: General public ticket sales open.
If you’re an Annual Passholder or a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can snag a 20% discount on your tickets. These events have a limited capacity and do tend to sell out, especially on weekend dates and around the Fourth of July, so you’ll want to jump on those reservations as soon as your window opens.
Whether you’re there for the thrill of the slides at night or just want to dance the night away with Max, H2O Glow is easily one of the highlights of a Walt Disney World summer. We’ll see you at the surf pool!
