Supporting Our Heroes From Home

The Walt Disney Company is continuing its long-standing support of military families and veterans. ESPN+ is set to broadcast extensive live coverage of the 2026 Department of Defense Warrior Games. If you have an ESPN+ subscription or the Disney Bundle, you can watch these inspiring athletes compete from June 13 to June 20, 2026.

First established in 2010, the Warrior Games celebrate the resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill, and injured active-duty service members and veterans. The athletes use adaptive sports as a key part of their recovery and rehabilitation journeys. Disney has a deep history with this event, even hosting the games at Walt Disney World Resort’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex back in 2022.

What to Expect from the Broadcast

This year, the broadcast will deliver more than 59 hours of live coverage. Viewers can watch nearly 200 athletes representing branches of the military, including the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, Space Force, and Special Operations Command.

You can catch select live events on the ESPN App with your ESPN+ subscription. The sports featured in this year’s extensive coverage include:

The Commentator Lineup

To make the viewing experience even better, ESPN has lined up a great team of commentators and reporters. Our Take on the Coverage

We think this is a fantastic use of Disney’s streaming platforms. It is always moving to see these athletes compete, and having over 59 hours of live coverage makes it incredibly easy for families to watch together. Whether you are a big sports fan or just want to support our military heroes, make sure to log into ESPN+ between June 13 and June 20 to catch some of the action.
