General public tickets for the 2026 Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure will officially go on sale on June 18, 2026. The virtual waiting room is scheduled to open at approximately 8:45 AM Pacific Time, with ticket sales starting no earlier than 9:00 AM Pacific Time.
If you are a Magic Key holder, you can take advantage of exclusive pre-sales:
- June 16, 2026: Pre-sale opens for Inspire Magic Key holders.
- June 17, 2026: Pre-sale opens for all other Magic Key tiers, including Believe, Enchant, and Imagine Magic Keys.
- June 16, 2026: D23 members can purchase tickets for an exclusive D23 member night taking place on September 27, 2026.
2026 Event Dates and Ticket Pricing
This year, the after-hours Halloween party will run for a record 33 select nights between August 18 and October 31, 2026.
Ticket prices vary depending on the date you choose to attend:
- Standard Dates: Tickets start at $139 per guest (ages 3 and older).
- Peak Dates: Prices scale up to $189 for popular nights later in the season.
- Halloween Night (October 31): Tickets are priced at $199.
- D23 Member Exclusive Night (September 27): Tickets are priced at $169.
A Major Parade Route Shake-up
The biggest update for the 2026 season is a major alteration to the event’s entertainment lineup. The beloved Frightfully Fun Parade is officially being replaced this year by a brand-new show: Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake: A Haunted Mansion Street Party.
This parade-like street performance will run exclusively during Oogie Boogie Bash nights. The change comes as a result of ongoing construction at Disney California Adventure. Work on the upcoming Coco-inspired attraction has temporarily limited access to backstage parade storage areas, a restriction expected to last until 2028.
To complement the new street party, Disney is also offering the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, which features reserved viewing of the show along with a new selection of treats themed to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Planning Ahead for Halloween Time
The start of Oogie Boogie Bash on August 18 actually pre-dates the official kickoff of Halloween Time across the rest of the Disneyland Resort, which begins on August 21, 2026. Visitors planning trips around this time should also note seasonal entertainment transitions:
- World of Color – Happiness will conclude its run on August 9, 2026, marking the end of the resort’s 70th Celebration.
- World of Color – One returns on August 10, 2026, and will play throughout the fall season.
- Paint the Night and Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park will run through August 20, 2026, before Halloween Screams takes over starting August 21, 2026.
